At least one person died in the crash. If anyone could point me to any information, I would appreciate it. Thanks... Check out the National Library of Australia and see if they have the newspapers online or on microfilm - they should have them. The only Australian accident reported by Lloyds of London on that date was a Piper PA-22 VH-RVP which crashed at, or near, Melbourne. The Melbourne daily (The Age ?) would be the place I would start.
