Question: At what point should the glider pilot release
from the aero retrieve?

I, not wanting to land out more than once on any given
day, prefer to consider the tow pilot and make sure
HE or SHE is within gliding distance of the target
airport before releasing.

Just wondering what the proper etiquette is, world-wide,
for such situations.
