Why is their earliest flight to Dublin at 14.10? Have they given up on
competing with Ryanair on the early morning market? It also rules out anyone
using their transatlantic services from Dublin, because they all leave well
before 3pm which is when you'd get there.

I notice at the rugby weekend, they are operating 737s but no sign of any
wide-bodies on specials.

I understood their EDI morning flight to connect with EI's TX was always well
customed.? Dublin of course had the added advantage of USA immigration
clearance..

EI do seem to be running scared of FR..CO might also have put the
frighteners on any
plans to re-instate TX connections.

They don't seem to have the demand for home games, away games however appear
to attract the specials..?

Even with all the demand?

Just as expected... I did at one time speculate EI operating a
one-stop to the USA from EDI, in air travel lingo that would be
'direct' if there were no change of aircraft at DUB and the flight
retained the same number.?

What now for EI's TX connections,? The immigration clearance at
DUB alone would be an advantage over both Manchester and London.

Perhaps CO might pre-empt other airports by lobbying for USA
immigration clearance at EDI.?

You can still connect out of GLA, except Sundays. There are some
passengers who will fly out of GLA (to get the connection) and return to
EDI.

CO's new EDI-EWR direct service might prove more convenient in June. Smile)

A 'pro-GLA' post yet no sign of any 'posting guidelines' bull from JC,
whyever not, surely he's not being selective to who he spouts *his* 'posting
guidelines' to?
I think I'll plop Hilary's post into my file...

Half the time the clearance is in SNN, not DUB and takes forever. I've
cleared immigration in BOS faster than I've cleared immigration in DUB/SNN,
it must be said.

Another excuse for double-dropping at SNN? Sad(

That £190...does it include overnight accommodation and transfers to and
from the
hotel I wonder.?
