A couple of contractors are seriously testing the Adelaide Airport
Corporation's sense of humour. I looked at the Security tender a
few years ago when it came up. Liquidated damages for the project
were $23K per day.

Fuel problems delay airport terminal swap
Domestic flight operations in Adelaide will have to remain at the old
airport terminal building for an extra two weeks due to more problems with
the new refuelling system.
International services moved into Adelaide Airport's new terminal building
on Saturday but the move for domestic flights has been delayed.
Last week the problem was a broken fuel valve.
Now it has been discovered that the airport's fuel pump units were
contaminated with an anti-corrosive substance during transit.
Airport managing director Phil Baker will not say if anyone is at fault.
"I'm not sure if the contractor should've known - I wouldn't be able to put
it on him, I wouldn't know if the shipper shouldn't have put the corrosive
material on," he said.
Cleaning and stripping the fuel pumps will take an extra two weeks.
Mr Baker says he is disappointed about the delay.
"To be so close to the end now and having this one issue which you can't see
getting in the way is quite frustrating," he said.
Domestic flights must continue using the old terminal until November 9.
