bmibaby is on the ball - airline operates additional flights for Wales
- Scotland clash

bmibaby, the award winning airline with tiny fares, is adding
additional capacity to its flights between Edinburgh and Cardiff in
February due to European football fixtures.

The airline will be adding an additional return flight on Thursday
19th February 2004 to transport Scottish fans home after the Wales -
Scotland clash, which is being held at the Millennium Stadium.

The European friendly promises to be a match to remember as it's the
first time that the teams have faced each other in almost twenty
years.

David Hodge, head of marketing for bmibaby, said:
"We're laying on extra capacity due to demand, it's obvious that
there are quite a few fans who will be looking forward to this clash
and we're happy to provide convenient, low cost air travel with
flights specifically timed to fit in with the match.

"We're also looking to add extra capacity for the Wales - Scotland
rugby match, which is being held on 14 February at the Millennium
Stadium so watch this space for more information."

Flights can be booked online now at bmibaby.com. Advice from the
airline is to book early to avoid disappointment.

I assume there will also be other airlines operating charters between EDI
and CWL for the football and rugby matches?

Great news for Scottish fans....

That of course is the 'biggy', I remember when visiting fans spent
weeks in each country, nowadays they seem to fly down/up the day
before and return the day after...

If other years are anything to go by, the rugby in particular will
be well and truly subscribed...
