"THE year is 2011 and transport has been revolutionised in Edinburgh. A
visitor arriving at Edinburgh Airport no longer takes a bus or taxi to the
city, but instead hops on a high-speed train that whisks him through a
mile-long tunnel under the runway and the River Almond to the capital!

other parts of Scotland..

Just imagine, folk could be at EDI just 30 minutes after leaving

forget this I didn't read it properly in 2011 a train from EDI to Waverly
wouldn't be going under the river Almond!!!!

forget this I didn't read it properly in 2011 a train from EDI to
Waverly wouldn't be going under the river Almond!!!!

Unless it was an underground train. Imagine that.

By 2011 GLA will have all the missing destinations EDI has at present.
Besides they can currently drive it from the Glasgow area in round about
that time if necessary.
