Just go to http://www.taxiwayalpha.com and sign up to use the forums,
where no hassle occurs and everyone talks about EDI without any
personal insults being thrown.
Check Bill's signature for another reason to join ;-)

Nahhh, Yabbers is better. It has got rigid moderation by the real EDI
guy ( U or A ? whatever takes your fancy).
http://www.yabbers.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=571&mforum=bni

His moderation was so good so the forum is closed.

ROFL :-)

PS. Which goes to show that he only exists because there are people
who are from Glasgow. Noone went to yabbers so there is nothing to talk
about.

Exactly , talk up EDI and you're on a winner! Talk up Glasgow and it's
a different story! The owner is shamelessly manipulated by the EDI
brigade , the main reason not to join! Such a biased waste of what
could and should be a very good forum. :-(

True, Gavin is EDI biased, but thats because he studied at Uni there.

GLA stuff is welcomed in the GLA forum as well, just as long as it's
not flamebait like the stuff around here.
Anyway, he can stick up for himself, so I'll let him answer to you ;)

Just contradictions from you! The moderator is your friend?

A better hassle-free forum with is:
http://www.yabbers.com/phpbb/viewforum.php?f=22&mforum=bni
Most of the EDI guys who were put off by BBBlimpie are there.

So you post here because it's anti-socially invaded by Glasgow?

The forum is the one EDI guys are going to: It's non-politico - an EDI
enthusiasts dream

http://www.yabbers.com/phpbb/viewforum.php?f=22&mforum=bni

The other alternative is to stand and fight here or lose worldwide
usenet representation.

I do both.

Why would true EDI aficionados allow Glasgow bullies to drive a Worldwide
Edinburgh usenet newsgroup underground?

Isn't that cowardly surrender? I urge anyone who cares about the future
of a worldwide
Edinburgh Airport public forum to Fight..use it or lose it.

Ask yourself. why are the majority of taxiway alpha contributors posting
here if their own
forum is such a wonderful Glasgow-free place?

PATHETIC.

If you want AAUE to go from strength to strength, the only answer would be
for you(and ALL your sock puppets) to bugger off to "busy" yabbers, and stop
your incessant trolling here, only after this will it have any chance of
becoming an EDI forum and not just a JC bullshit factory.

Very true, this forum came alive when he was away in the states, decent

debate, information and no referring to his mickey mouse ,fairytale, highly
inaccurate site. There was even some posters that had stopped posting because
of him that returned in the short time he wasnt trolling.
He is barred from taxiway alpha which immediately makes it a decent place,
and he is fully involved in the destruction of the yabbers EDI forum (which
i can't think of one EDI poster except him that frequents it!!)

there are problems with that type of newsgroup as I recently found out if
you forget your password just as the admin goes on holiday, having said that
I was sure I had the right password but it didn't work and because there is
only one admin I was unable to post for quite a while.

Have you ever used a kill-file? I ask because some people don't understand
how they work. I think Usenet is the best because the threads are very easy
to follow and you can always block users you don't like. Also I'm not a
great fan of the idea that someone decides what is acceptable and what isn't
frankly, that system is open to abuse IMHO.
